Return Policy

RMA’s are only issued up to 60 days from the invoice date and are valid for 45 days from the date of issue. All returns must have an RMA (Return Material Authorization) number before the return of the material or request for credit. To request an RMA number, email customerservice@bannersolutions.com , call 800.821.8527. Any material received without an RMA will not be accepted and returned at the customer’s expense. Please note that an RMA number does not guarantee final disposition and all returns are subject to a final inspection. All exchanged or returned merchandise must be in original factory carton, including all packaging materials, inserts, manuals, and all accessories. The material must be new and in good, stock able condition, and must not have been previously installed.

All customer requests to return “stock” material will have a standard 20% restocking fee in addition to original freight charges (if applicable) and will be credited (excluding return shipping and handling charges) after inspection. Returns on all factory ordered material are subject to both Banner Solutions and the factory’s approval and have a minimum 45% restocking fee. No returns of factory ordered material under $250.00 will be accepted. All Allegion brands (Falcon, Glynn-Johnson, Ives, LCN, Schlage Lock, Schlage Electronics, Von Duprin) factory ordered material is nonreturnable. Replacement of defective material or material shipped in error will be invoiced and credited upon receipt of defective or incorrect material. Products are warranted solely by the manufacturer with the complete warranty included with the product and is also subject to the conditions set forth by the manufacturer.

Package/Box Charges: Customer’s will be charged a repacking fee for damaged or altered boxes – to include tape or writing on package – if they need replacing (manufacturers charge Banner Solutions for replacement boxes). Credit amount will be reduced for missing components (cylinders, strikes, etc.) at the discretion of Banner Solutions’ returns department. All returns must be packed in an outer shipping carton with a valid RMA number on the outside of the shipping carton. No returned material will be accepted without a Return Materials Authorization number. Please ship your parcel freight prepaid using a ground service “insured”.

Return labels: A FedEx return label will be provided for return of material that was shipped out in error or if the material is deemed defective. If a UPS label is needed, please specify when requesting an RMA, as we can provide a UPS label for our customer’s with only UPS pick-ups. If a shipping label is needed for a customer request RMA, there will be a $25 charge for that label.
